Jacqui Collier is an extraordinary community leader, dedicated to uplifting and empowering others. She has a distinguished career in the private sector as the Director of Sales and Marketing with Tamarack Homes of The Taggart Group of Companies, and is a fierce advocate for Kingston’s most prominent charitable sector organizations, including as President of the Boys & Girls Club/BGC South East and the Big Brothers Big Sisters KFLA, as well as Chair of Habitat for Humanity KLR, and Director of the Great Lakes Museum.
Jacqui is a recipient of the King Chales III Coronation Medal, was a recipient of Kingston Economic Development Corporation’s inaugural 40 under 40 awards in 2023, the EnerQuality Corporation’s prestigious Builder Achievement Award for the province of Ontario in 2018, and ENERGY STAR Champion award in 2017.
Jacqui hosts a weekly news segment on Global News Kingston titled Design Ideas with Jacqui, and appears monthly on CTV News Ottawa. Jacqui is a proud mother of two daughters who are adopted, and is a strong advocate for families across Kingston. In her own words, Jacqui is committed to “the advancement of women in leadership roles” and, as a Senate Member with the PWOR, she believes “there is no greater purpose and meaning in her life than to be a public servant, and in service to her country”. Supporting an infantry reserve unit right here in Kingston is thus an important milestone along that path.
