John Aaron Price was recently appointed as the Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel of the Princess of Wales’ Own Regiment. 
A 1981 graduate of Queen’s University, John recently retired after a distinguished 37-year career as a prominent real estate agent in Kingston. Known for his exemplary community service, John has dedicated decades to supporting Veterans, the military, and their families. Throughout his career, John’s contributions have been widely recognized. He received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Pin Award in 2019, the City of Kingston’s First Capital Honourable Achievement Award for outstanding community service, and a Province of Ontario Certificate of Recognition for 16 years of dedicated service as a Community Advisor and volunteer for the Kingston Military Family Resource Centre. His unwavering support for military families and cadets has earned him commendations from the Canadian Forces Base Commander and the Royal Military College Commandant. In 2023, John was honoured by his peers as the Kingston Real Estate Association Volunteer of the Year. He is also the only Canadian real estate agent to receive the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award for his tireless commitment to the military. Alongside his wife, Heather, John was nominated as a 2014 AFP Outstanding Volunteer Fundraising Nominee. Together, they played a pivotal role in establishing the Military Appreciation Games with the Kingston Frontenacs in 2010, an event that continues to strengthen bonds between the military and the local community. John and Heather’s philanthropic spirit extends to organizing the largest Corvette car shows in Kingston and Canada in 2018 and 2022, raising $33,000 for local charities, including military regiments. They are proud parents to three children—Robbie, Sara, and Emily—and grandparents to one grandson, Spencer. When not engaged in community initiatives, John enjoys spending time at his cottage with Heather, friends, and family, and he has a passion for Corvettes that perfectly reflects his enthusiasm for life and connection
