On behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, Sovereign of the Order of Military Merit, Her Excellency the Governor-General, the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Chancellor and Extraordinary Commander of Said Order, has given orders for the appointment of Master Warrant Officer Colin Banham, CD as a Member of the Order of Military Merit, as a member of the 71st List. Founded on July 1, 1972, the Order of Military Merit recognizes distinctive merit and exceptional service displayed by the men and women of the Canadian Forces, both Regular and Reserve.
