The PWOR Senate includes community leaders from Kingston, like Jimmy Hassan (picture). Mr. Hassan was invited to join Senate given his active engagement in the Kingston community. From the very start, it was clear that Mr. Hassan’s commitment to service is what’s driving his involvement with the PWOR: “I always dreamed of serving my country in uniform, but due to personal circumstances, I never had the chance. Being a part of the PWOR Senate, I have a new opportunity by aiding those who are serving the country as I once dreamed” he says. In addition to being a local business owner, Mr. Hassan is a City Councillor (Trillium District), Founder and CEO of Canadian Colours Kingston Foundation, as well as the Producer and Host of Community Voice with Jimmy Hassan (YourTv Cogeco).Jimmy Hassan
